I don't understand why Manchester United would prioritize signing a relatively young talent instead of focusing on bringing experienced players who can add significant depth and quality to the team. Given the club's current struggles, their priorities should be on acquiring established players who can make an immediate impact and help restore their competitive edge.
United is not doing well financially and that's the reason they're cutting jobs and maybe why they want to get rid of Rashford and Casemiro in the summer because of their heavy wages. So I understand completely why they don't want to spend heavily on experienced players because it's going to cost them more money. Also, I don't think it's such a bad idea because they've other experienced players in the team, so it's going to be a touch of experience and young talents.

Despite being experienced players they bring little value to the club and every year they become a liability because it would be cheaper to buy a young player who will play much better and longer than them, and most likely his wages will be lower. It's just more profitable for the club. Moreover, it's a chance to normalise the situation at the club, both financially and in general regarding the standings
