This season PSG is already sure of winning the league but we expect Luis Enrique to extend the dominance of his team to the champions league if they can make good progress they should focus more on getting to the final I believe they have a better chance.
Champions League is a most wanted title with PSG and they are going to try winning it again. Luis Enrique after some seasons in Paris, does still fail to help PSG winning this title. It's hard for him as PSG are in transitional phase and no longer have biggest star players in their squad. Their squad in last two seasons have been changed to be built and operate mainly as a united team and no longer operate with big dependence on super star players like Messi, Neymar and Mbappe years ago.
It becomes boring for them because there is no tight competition, so they can easily get a title every season. But if the position is different with them getting tight pressure, then this league becomes more interesting and they will definitely be more enthusiastic to defend it.
Ligue 1 is boring in most of seasons last decade by strong domination of PSG. This season is another boring season even PSG lost their biggest and brightest star players recent years. Other clubs in Ligue 1 are too weak and are not competitive enough to challenge PSG for the league title. After 23 match days of the league, PSG already created 13 point difference against Marseille, the second club. With only 11 matches till the season ending, it's too big for Marseille to catch PSG as with domination of PSG there, it's impossible that they will lose 11 points or more in last 11 matches. Ligue 1 title in 2024 - 2025 season can say, already belongs to PSG.
This is very different, because in the Champions League they get a different situation. In the Champions League the situation is reversed, if in League 1 they are the team that should get pressure, in the Champions League they are the competitors who are expected to be able to give something good, because there are so many teams that are better than them.
PSG can focus on Champions League round of 16 and even farther when Ligue 1 is nearly solved very well by them. They will again try going as farthest as possible while in quality perhaps they are not good enough to win Champions League title.
