Trump stopping HIV funding in Nigeria is really  concerning, though it shouldn’t be if only our government truly cared about its people. Nigeria has the capacity to fund HIV treatment, but we all know the reality of our system.

The unfortunate truth is that many lives will be lost to the virus due to a shortage of antiretroviral drugs for those living with HIV.
Now more than ever, everyone needs to be cautious. Here are some  ways HIV can be transmitted:

1:Blood transfusion from an infected person.
2:Unprotected sexual intercourse. Always use protection, no matter how much you want to get laid.
3: Sharing sharp objects like needles and syringes.
4: Mother to child transmission during pregnancy.
I pray our government will show compassion and step in to support those affected. Until then, everyone please stay safe!

Trump did well, stopping the funding of Hivs will make Who Health Organisations stop playing politics with Hiv drugs. They  will seat in their comfort zone and give unconfirmed figure of Hiv patients in your village without visiting or Carrry out any research. Hiv numbers are all politics to get funds from US government. And Trump understands that the US is wasting funds on Hiv drugs.

However, every government should care for it citizen's health, US must not be responsible for your citizens health.  Many countries in the world neglected their responsibility because the USA are offering free drugs around the world.  Yet they will make a budget for Hiv drugs annually, collect the funds and share among themselves.  The  Trump administration wants to focus on USA citizen only so other countries should take responsibility and stop blaming Trump for stopping medical aids.

China and Russia can actually pay for free Hiv drugs comfortably with out USA, but they won't do it.  USA has tried for WHO over times.  WHO should put more pressure on every country presidents to get the Hiv drugs and distribute it freely to their citizens. They must be way out, US shouldn't be the only hope.

This is the reason why the figures of people living with HIV in Nigeria is  increasing on daily basis,I suspected this figures were been manipulated because how are they even  getting this numbers they are publishing in the internet. This used to remind me of the coranavirus lockdown when the WHO pledges supportive funds to countries affected with the virus, immediately Nigeria infection rates started increasing rapidly.

The corrupt practices of this govt has been notice by the US and Donald Trump has decided to stop the fundings. This will only affects those that are poor and that have been depending on free govt supplies because since the funding have been stop by the US I don't think the Nigeria govt will fund the free distribution of HIV drugs  and even though they might fund it,the supplies will be limited and will not get to those that needed it.

President Donald Trump shouldn't just Stop the funding, he should also probe how the funds  were been spend,to investigate if this funds were spent appropriately, atleast this will expose those that are diverting the funds meant for free HIV drugs to their personal accounts
