~snip~
Most of the time those who push their way to try more in order to recover are those who loses a lot, instead of taking breaks and have some air to free up their minds, they wanted to chase their loses and if control unable to handle then expect to lose more. Taking break is one way to prevent regretting your wrong decisions, though there are some who manage to recover and wise enough to quit after, but the percentages is too small compared with those who made mistakes in forcing their way to continue playing.

Yeah, but still, everyone is different. What worked for one person might not work for the next.

In the end the ideal is to have a reasonable balance between gambling and normal life.

If someone is spending all their time and money in gambling, then that's not a great way to pass the time.

I agree to that, having the right balance is the best way to entertain and enjoy but if your focus is already been taken by that hope to earn then it's no longer healthy for you, like what you said what's working from one gambler is not a guarantee that will also work to another, it's a discipline that will gives that prevention from being hook with good financial and emotional control, if you posess such attitude then you'll be able to make a righful decision regarding to your gambling activities.
