It is not a fear index but only about the level of panic that is happening to most people who still hold Bitcoin until now. When it was at 100k, some people were complaining that's too expensive, now that bitcoin has dipped to $85k, they are still complaining and wouldn't buy. Instead, they will say now that I wanted to invest bitcoin is crashing and a lot of excuses why they should not invest but to keep on complaining.
Only traders or those who took loan to invest and get short-term profits because they thought that bitcoin price will pump from $100k straight to $150k, but they're disappointed and might start selling in loss sayong that bitcoin is a scam. Sometimes, when something is happening, you take a deep breath and make research invest of panicking because panic can lead to wrong decisions and actions that you will regret later. Buy bitcoin, grow, build and hodli for long so that you wouldn't panic but have rest of mind.
