Newcastle used to be a mid table team in the past few years before their new owners took over. Remember Newcastle were a team that usually battle relegation at this stage of the season before the new owners came in. For me Newcastle are just doing well especially now that they are regular finisher in the top 10 teams, in the premier league. Check very well you will see that Newcastle haven't really made some major signings for the past two transfers windows, due to financial fair play rules. Yet they are up there competing. And still fighting for European spot. How many of the big teams in the premier League will survive very well without signing players in two transfer windows? So in my opinion Newcastle are doing fine. They are far ahead of Tottenham who have been signing players yet they keep getting worse. Tottenham are the biggest disappointment.

Yea there's a whole lot of sense in what you've have said so far, I think i agree that they are really trying there best despite not adding some players in their fold some few open transfer windows but I don't think it should really be much excuse for them reason being that this is a competition that requires anyone to survive with whichever means thats available but talking about Tottenham, I don't rate Totenham as a team thats ready to make a good impact in the aspect of winning the English premier League, the comparison you made on Newcastle and Tottenham is very correct, as a matter of fact I think Newcastle is better of if we should consider everything you mentioned.

Sometimes I feel Totenham shouldn't be regarded as team again because there performance keep giving bettors and fans surprising and disappointing moments, the keep flopping thereby making things very uneasy for bettors to predict any football event that they are imvolved in, just imagine Manchester City thats in their worst form managing to score them and defended the goal till the last minute's of the match without them equalizing the goal or even winning the game as you case may be, I think it is time for rebranding that's if they are ready for a noticeable good performance.
