People who focus on making money don't always get distracted by unnecessary activities which isn't related to money, they always imagine how life would be when they have money, they easily learn first also
Those who focus on making money I think are those who will not waste time, the term time is money is real for rich people, usually they say this even though it seems arrogant but now I understand because time is very valuable so we must use it as best we can.
And others like you said, they may not be easily distracted by other activities, especially those that do not make money, but there are times when they have to mingle with people around them even though it does not make them profitable because there is knowledge that can be obtained.
