And it is impossible to get back what he lost. And I think that even gambling addicts know very well that they have lost their money in the game forever. But some inner feeling, maybe resentment or hope to win and recoup still makes such a player continue to play. And accordingly, he continues to spend even more money.
I fault your point a little, just a part.

Well, for me, the losses do not mean you can never regain them back, the only cautious part is that you should not think of it as something you can get by all means. That desperation is what puts gamblers into more trouble and I've never read in the history of risky activities that the desperate people who are trying to revenge their losses eventually win, at least, more than 99.50% will continue to lose more.

Well yes that's right, when we experience a series of defeats it doesn't mean that we will never be able to achieve recovery or get the money back, the reason? because victory is always an opportunity that can happen at any time without us expecting it besides the risk of defeat, so actually the idea of people who say and suggest never to look back or see the losses that have occurred is actually so that we can forget the moment of defeat which is beneficial so that we avoid emotions that can lead us to various actions out of control but it doesn't mean we will never be able to achieve recovery in the future for the reasons I have stated above. Because often gamblers get caught up in despair when they always think about the defeats they have experienced and that's the reason, but on the other hand don't expect too much on recovery because after all it is nothing more than a possibility.
