That's so hard topic for me that I still can't agree with myself whether mixers should exist or not. I have tons of arguments in my head against the existence of mixers and also in favor of their existence.
How about if you were a victim that lost a lump sum of Bitcoin and it got mixed and you couldn't track the coin anymore, would it cause you to hate mixer?
There are people who blame others and there are people who blame themselves. I always blame myself for every mistake, so, if I became a victim of Bitcoin theft, I'll consider it as my mistake where I deserve to pay for my mistake. I wouldn't start talking about how mixers prevented my from recovery, no. I use Bitcoin because I'm my own bank and I'm totally responsible for my actions. So, if I lose Bitcoin, that's the result of my actions and I won't blame mixers if the hacker hide traces through them.
