Real Sociedad is clearly no match for Real Madrid. Because it is clear that Real Madrid is a big team that always beats almost all its opponents in the league. So Sociedad is clearly no match for Real Madrid in any aspect. But even so, I personally am actually quite impressed with Sociedad's performance in this match. Because even though in this match Sociedad lost to Real Madrid. But Sociedad really put up quite a fight against Real Madrid. Maybe if Real Madrid's defensive players didn't play well in this match, I think Real Madrid could have lost this match.
So with this, I think that in the second leg, Real Madrid shouldn't be too confident that they can win easily. Because I'm sure that when Sociedad visits Real Madrid's headquarters they will definitely have a good strategy. So with this, I think Real Madrid should not underestimate Sociedad, even though basically the second leg match will be held at Real Madrid headquarters. Because Real Madrid is currently only 1 goal ahead of Sociedad. So of course Real Madrid must also be more careful against Sociedad in the upcoming second leg match. Because I personally think there will be unexpected surprises that might happen.
I feel like while Real Madrid is by far the better team, we also need to realize that Sociedad didn't play a bad game, and they do look decent this season, Sociedad provided some tough challenge to some big teams this year. However, a win is a win, plus no matter how good we think Sociedad is, its still a good thing that Real Madrid faced them, look at Barcelona and Atletico Madrid, those are two great teams that faced each other, and no matter who gets knocked out, we could say that the team that lost in that match up, could have beaten Sociedad, which proves that Real got an easy semi finals. Of course semi finals doesn't even matter, because even if you win, when you lose the final, nobody remembers who the runner up was.
