I don't think it's just a question of marketing, i think people also love playing. See me that i play with my old friends from time to time to briscola, broom or poker.
We certainly have no addiction, but we like to play.
Today's generations play online with games where they shoot i think Fortnite type.
Of course it's not just a marketing issue but how gambling is done just to enjoy the game like you do with friends. But it's different with people who are addicted because they will be involved excessively without any consideration. For me it's okay for people to gamble as long as they have control because the most important thing is they know when to stop and don't force themselves to gamble all the time. I am also one of those who often bet on football or slots, but involvement in it never forces me to spend a lot of money on it because I know when to stop or continue betting responsibly.
Mmm yes, because people love to play when something is at stake but when we talk about repetitive games and without so much skill or us involved things change, for that i allways cut apart for example Poker players, maybe some of them can be considered as an adict but for me they play not only for the money. They are part of the game and much more.
