Kompany is doing a brilliant job at Bayern but I believe he is also lucky to have met a very good squad in the club, Thomas Tuchel would also have done the same or almost the same if he was given more chance to prove himself, he was only unlucky. Good players are all over Bayern, they just need the right orientation and motivation and you will see them performing well. Even Kane who is the highest goal score was the handy work of Thomas Tuchel, and many like that.
I am aware of this about Kompany, he is not a terrible manager. Because at the start of the season I assumed he would be terrible, and while winning the title with Bayern Munich isn't a big achievement, a really bad one could have lost the league too, last season Bayern had Tuchel, could we say he is a bad manager? Of course not, dude finished with more points than some of the champions years, but Leverkusen had an unbelievable year.
So Kompany just took Bayern, and made them do what they were suppose to do, not a huge achievement but at least he didn't underperform. That is what I expected of him to do, underperform, have bad results, show the world he is a bad manager and make Bayern lose. But he didn't, so that is a great deal.
