Overtime online gambling has become very popular, many people prefer to use websites and apps to bet on their favorite sports and casino games. This has made gambling very convenient and easily accessible, it's actually why people get addicted to it. Anyone who has a smartphone won't see the need of going to a bet center to gamble. The world has gone digital, but is this causing more harm than good?. land based casinos and bet shops require you to leave your house but online gambling is available, people can gamble from the comfort of their home whenever and however they want. This has made a lot of people addicted, some started by staking low amounts but overtime they found themselves gambling with large amounts of money. Easy access to gambling websites can make it harder to stop and this might lead to a serious issue. Most people think they are in Control of theirself or just playing to have fun but they don't notice that it's turning into an habit. Online gambling has made more addicts than offline gambling.
Yes it is, because it is with you always, having access with your phone gives an edge and makes one more addicted to online gambling since whenever you are ready to gamble in your comfort zone there will be no disturbance, online gambling make it easier for a lot of persons to be a gambler since they don't have to visit casino for games, it also assist them in hiding their gambling problems, and the shame of their loses, online gambling is private and not public, therefore those hiding from family members and friends that they are not gambling makes it easy for them and before you know it,they are use to it without they themselves knowing it and it becomes a problem coming out of it or what you can't do without, which is not good at all, even as it is in our comfort zone,we should not abuse the previlege.
