IMO Android is even safer than a connected computer using Windows. Because you can do way less things on a smartphone under Android than on a computer, and above all you can't install what you want (if you don't change native parameters of course). Plugins don't exist on top of that. I am currently using Trustwallet on my current smartphone Android, and I have used Electrum on another Android smartphone, and I've never undergone any hack till now fortunately.
yes, that's the reality now because Android has better security than computers that need to do their own security and the type of application used will be more varied because computers can do custom and things like that.
Android has a basic security also from the playstore that will re-scan before the application is used.
But yes it also depends on the user himself, but as long as Android is still not rooted everything will run fine.
I also use a lot of wallet apps etc until now but it is still safe, depending on who uses it and whether or not it implements security properly.
