IMO Android is even safer than a connected computer using Windows. Because you can do way less things on a smartphone under Android than on a computer
I disagree. These days smartphones can do almost everything that one can do on computer.
and above all you can't install what you want (if you don't change native parameters of course). Plugins don't exist on top of that.

... And second your phone can be accessed pretty easily without you noticing. Say someone gets ahold of your phone for just a minute or two - they could install something sketchy quick, without you even noticing.
No one gives their phone to anybody like that, and if phone is lying around, it's screen locked.
