As many people don't aware of bitcoin and other crypto, do you take initiative to explain about bitcoin to others? I am spreading information and knowledge about btc to others, advantages of btc. I have observed some people showing interest or heared about btc some where. Let's spread the btc world to others, cheers.
When sharing my passion for Bitcoin to others am a bit selective and cautious, I don't tell anyone I meet about it and I'm definitely not an going to preach about Bitcoin to others unless they approach me first because I've been ridiculed before. Not twice have I tried to tell my friends about Bitcoin but in the end they think am trying to scam them. I don't blame them though because there has been and still is a lot of misconception and stigma surrounding crypto currency so I only explain to them when they have questions about Bitcoin.
That's how it is suppose to be, I don't it is right to just see anyone and start talking about bitcoin with the person , even if the person is someone you know very well. Before making any conversation about bitcoin with anybody you need to be sure if the person has same interest of bitcoin just like you and  it will make the conversation to go very smoothly without any rejection. Having discussion with the wrong people who don't care about bitcoin and understand it, you may even be seen as a suspect of scam maybe based on the wrong investment they may have encountered even before now.

They don't need to have same interest  about bitcoin like you do before you can engage in a bitcoin discussion with them. Otherwise how do we change the wrong perspectives our friends and family are having towards bitcoin. It should be a thing of joy that you have impacted live with this amazing and innovative project. I'm  not saying you should meet any random person on the street and start advertising bitcoin to them no, you also have to protect yourself by keeping some information private to yourself  like how much bitcoin you've  held so far or brag about your portfolio. But rather you could use other prominent enthusiasts as a case study to cite your example for the purpose of clarity.
I would say that before informing a person about Bitcoin, one should have sufficient knowledge about Bitcoin. Otherwise, there is a possibility of more harm than benefit in that promotion. If someone wants to participate in Bitcoin promotion as a promoter, then I definitely encourage him, but if he himself gives wrong ideas for the promotion, it will be a bigger threat for him. Moreover, if someone gives ideas about his personal holdings while giving ideas about Bitcoin, it will be a bigger threat for him. It is better for that person not to go to Bitcoin promotion. Because he does not know about his own security. How can he help others use Bitcoin? There is no need for promotion for Bitcoin, but the message of Bitcoin should be conveyed to those who do not know about Bitcoin yet. It is definitely a good policy if knowledge is shared to those who are new, rather than encouraging them to invest in Bitcoin, after all it is a good decision to increase their ideas and awareness about Bitcoin.
Not really necessary yet even with the basics of Bitcoin information should suffice, the only issue on here is that whenever they do make out some in depth questions then you wont really be able to answer and its never been that good on telling them on information which is misleading. It would be better that you should be telling them on making up some indepth research that they can find in net.  The good thing if that you are knowledgeable is that you can be able to explain to them in one go and be mindful about telling them about on the risks involved on which dont give them some false hopes about making money is easy because if we do really just that tend to zoom out that Bitcoin/Crypto isnt really just that talking about money making opportunity but rather it is really that talking about its utility and other usage on which this is revolutionary.

For me im not really that someone who do convince out other people to get involved with Bitcoin or with crypto. I do really just that wait for them to ask out and on the moment that they would really be approaching then this is the time that i would really be that explaining to them on those information as much as i can and as clear as i can. We do know that we cant be perfect or really that professional when it comes to information and this is why if  you do have some lacking of some information then it will be better that you should really be that leading them into making up some internet search rather than on telling them on things on which you dont even know on what it is.
