In gambling, it is important for gamblers to get used to the fact that we should only have a limited amount of money to bet [so that we can only control what we can lose at the casino.
In this way, we can avoid what most gamblers often do, that they chase their losses most of the time, so we will not experience that because once our bet is exhausted,
we stop immediately, that's all
This can only work if and when the gambler him or herself is disciplined enough to not go depositing more money immediately after he or she has lost his or her first round of deposit.
I have meet alot of gamblers who set out $100 for gambling for the entire week, and just in one day, they lost the entire $100, and by the next day, they deposited another $100 which they still ended up losing, and by the weekend, one deposited $200 which he won a few bucks from, but later one lost every thing back to the casino due to not taking a break when he should have.
So in total, this gamblers ended up spending a whooping $400 on gambling in just one week when what they initial set aside to spend on gambling for the week was just $100, this is a clear example of lacking discipline to stick to the rule one gives him or herself.
