Leicester last season also played badly, and now they don't have much change. Maybe they can't avoid relegation this season if they still play badly.
A few seasons ago they were not like now, they could at least compete for the middle of the standings. Even in the 2015-2016 season they surprisingly won the trophy. Now we see they are struggling to get out of the relegation zone.
It's nothing to surprised about I guess, seeing that even Manchester city that won the English premier league trophy two or three times in a row is currently struggling to even maintain their 4th position in the EPL table goes a long way to tell us all that every team or club has their time,  and one thing I believe each of this club should always pray and strive for is for them not to miss their time or useless it, for if a club or team misses their time by either failing to recognize it and or make good use of it, it may or might take several years before their time comes again.

All through this season, I haven't spent a minute to watch any of Leicester City's game, but seeing that they are second to the last in the league table, I can only imagine how bad a season this is for them, and among all the teams they are going to be playing against in the coming days and weeks, I also can not see any of the team they have a chance against, but all the same, let see.

You are right, such a situation can happen to any team even when they still have players they can rely on. The departure of one or two players can be bad and have a big impact on the team. so is the change of coach which will have a big impact on the team's performance.
The decline that occurred at Man City may look bad, but that's because their achievements in the last few seasons were very good. But Leicester has a very bad decline in performance, even after one season they have not seen any changes. A similar situation may also be experienced by United this season.
