As Women's Premier League competition is coming to an end and matches are being completed it is becoming more interesting. Some squads made an amazing comeback in competition like Mumbai Indians while some performed very bad and dropped their position and reputation like Royal Challengers squad. Mumbai Indian women squad and Delhi Capital women both were participated today match in WPL competition. In this match, Delhi Capital women squad got a simple victory by defeating Mumbai Indian squad and Mumbai Indian squad played very stit and collected 123 scores as a defend which was low quality. Jess Jonassen supported Delhi Capital squad by picking 3 crucial wickets and restricted them to low scores and performance of Minnu Mani also amazing and she also cleared out 3 wickets of MI squad. Shafali Verma and Meg Lanning both build strong batting partnership and Delhi Capital women squad emerged simple victory.
Delhi Capitals Women really coming back strong by winning two consecutive wins and are now at the top of the points table. Mumbai Indian women is also a good team but yesterday they were helpless in their batting. They could only make 123 runs. Not a single player was able to bat for long. Two of the players Hayley Matthews and Harmanpreet Kaur made 22 runs each and that was the highest score by an individual in this match. There were many small partnerships by them but none got to a point that could help making some significant runs.
RCB batting first made a score of 147. It would have been a competitive score but against Delhi Capitals and how they are performing, it could be an easily chase able one. Ellyse Perry had her another good performance making 60 out of 47 but they weren't able to have a good run rate as expected at current level. Both are playing for wins, RCB needs it to remain in the game and at least rich the playoffs while Delhi would want to secure its final position. It would be the 2nd last league match for Delhi and they'd give their best to win it.
