Overtime online gambling has become very popular, many people prefer to use websites and apps to bet on their favorite sports and casino games. This has made gambling very convenient and easily accessible, it's actually why people get addicted to it. Anyone who has a smartphone won't see the need of going to a bet center to gamble. The world has gone digital, but is this causing more harm than good?. land based casinos and bet shops require you to leave your house but online gambling is available, people can gamble from the comfort of their home whenever and however they want. This has made a lot of people addicted, some started by staking low amounts but overtime they found themselves gambling with large amounts of money. Easy access to gambling websites can make it harder to stop and this might lead to a serious issue. Most people think they are in Control of theirself or just playing to have fun but they don't notice that it's turning into an habit. Online gambling has made more addicts than offline gambling.
Online casinos have made gambling very easy. For example, you can gamble wherever you want, whenever you want, and you don't have to spend extra time going to the casino. But online casinos are making people addicted to gambling. Especially, the popularity of online casinos has increased several times during the Covid-19 pandemic when people are forced to stay at home. Most people are attracted to online casinos to pass the time. This increases the number of addicted gamblers and the number of underage gamblers also starts increasing.

This is not a positive thing for the next generation. Because when underage children enter gambling, they are more likely to get addicted and they are almost certain to lose completely. Because they don't know anything about the risks of gambling and they don't have much idea about the steps.
