I don't still see any manager that's better than Pep Guardiola in the premier league, not even Liverpool manager is as good as Pep Guardiola when he has his full squad fit and playing. Manchester city backup plans didn't work for them as all their new signings aren't giving the manager what he wants. He'll need sometime to regroup very well and go back into the market to get some more good players to help rebuild the club to the old Manchester city that used to dominate all the clubs that they played against. Liverpool are very lucky this season as other clubs aren't playing at their very best, next season things will be very different and the league title will be more interesting.
I don't meant to disrespect Guardiola but hope you know that era do comes to an end and there are stages where you quit to respectfully keep your hard work for history to look at. Guardiola is a successful coach but the things that are happening around him is among things that made Manchester City fell of, no matter how string minded person you are, in any career you build and you lose your family in the process, it will definitely affect you psychologically.
There people before him that used to be one of the bests here and today they are forgotten while they became the new phase. Very soon, Guardiola will be the same and we will have new set of competition in the Premier League when league will be too competitive for teams to win again, more like another era of Premier League but one thing I will miss, the way he react to games especially anytime they loss, no coach I repeat no coach in Premier League that is dramatic like when their team is losing like Guardiola.
