Can't you be patience? Pep was coming to the City 2016/17, and he won his first PL trophy at 2017/18. Rebuilding the new winning team took some times, and were you expecting them to get instant result?
Pep is now starting back from the scratch and he must build everything, players, bounding, chemistry, mentality, skill and many more.
We must wait him to deliver another winning team next season. Patience is key friend.
I don't still see any manager that's better than Pep Guardiola in the premier league, not even Liverpool manager is as good as Pep Guardiola when he has his full squad fit and playing. Manchester city backup plans didn't work for them as all their new signings aren't giving the manager what he wants. He'll need sometime to regroup very well and go back into the market to get some more good players to help rebuild the club to the old Manchester city that used to dominate all the clubs that they played against. Liverpool are very lucky this season as other clubs aren't playing at their very best, next season things will be very different and the league title will be more interesting.
City is in the process in getting rid of some old players who are not really beneficial for them. I saw around 7 names are on the list include KDB, and Grealish. Let give them sometimes. They have signed more players to add more depth into their new squad.
Some new signs i.e Khusanov, Marmoush, and Nico are starting to shoot their bullets. They do pretty well since they come in, and i believe Pep is gonna cook with his new winning team soon.
