Bayer Leverkusen, a good team with young talented players who are not in anyway giving up for the title race, they are the only team that is giving Bayern Munich a tougher competition and ever since last season Bayern have been on their toes not to let last season's mistake repeat it self and Leverkusen have been doing well with records that's hard to break and now away unbeaten streak? To me I don't see this 29 away unbeaten as something they need to focus on because they have a bigger task ahead and that's to snatch the title again from Bayern Munich but this time things are taking a new turn and the point gap I find it hard for Leverkusen to meet up and some how top the league with few games to go, can they really catch up with Bayern Munich?
He might not be dominating the league like he did last season but Xabi Alonso's record with Bayer Leverkusen is obviously telling of his incredible performance for the German club since he became their manager. 29 away unbeaten isn't record that would give you the title because at the end, it be that you dropped points in most of the 29 games by drawing them instead of winning but at the end, it is an impressive record that I think is worthy enough for them to be proud of. I don't even think Xabi Alonso and his men will be carried away with the records because their ultimate aim this season is to successfully defend the league title not setting exciting records that'll not amount to winning a trophy. Bayern Munich are currently 8 points better than them moving into the last 10 league games of the season but I strongly believe that Bayer Leverkusen will continue to pressure for a first spot until it's achieved or it becomes mathematically impossible for them to get
