There is a big problem in that game. Atletico is not Manchester City man. They are better than Manchester City and with the way they are playing they might be the team to eliminated Real Madrid from the competition. Sometimes i get to pity for Real Madrid because they have faced stronger opponents than most of the team currently in the UCL. Even in difficult stages they get to play a very strong competitor.
Why pity a team that has won 15 UCL trophies while competing in the Champions League, I have never even felt sorry for a strong team like Real Madrid because with a smart enough coach and good enough tactics, Real Madrid can still prove themselves in the Champions League and I am even more worried about Atletico Madrid because they have met Real Madrid in the last 16 of the Champions League this season. Now you can make a comparison between Real Madrid's performance in the Champions League and the team's performance in other competitions.
Madrid has a smart and highly experienced coach who has won the Champions league 3 times for the club but we know nothing lasts for ever. Time and seasons do change so this might be one of such seasons where new kings emerges and the old king take a bow. Atletico is pretty ready for this clash and I and certain Madrid will work out real good on the field.
This season the champions league is taking a new shape and we are ready to welcome the new champions. We have had so much of Madrid and it's time to embrace a team who will put in more effort to lift this prestigious trophy.
