Fulham is playing with full confidence like a team that wants nothing but a win while Manchester United is defending well as well as running into Fulham defense when with the ball. End of an era for Manchester United. They have been really impressive in the FA Cup recently but it was until this time. They got eliminated by Fulham on penalties.
This will be a criticism point for Amorim. Because no matter how much I didn't like Erik ten Hag, I must admit that he was successful in this cup with that trash squad.
Amorim's team gave up very early this year. But I still don't feel like he will be replaced soon. I expect the board to give him more time. He will make new transfers to add some power to the team. Then we will see how capable Amorim is in reality. If he also turns out to be not much different than ten Hag then I don't think they will wait long to sack him.I know a couple of members here have tried to justify Manchester United's defeat with one excuses to another but again, if I'm in the position to rate this club with their current form, I will give them probably just 3 on a scale of 10 because they've shown the worse part of them this season. Despite the club had to change its management, it still didn't make the overall assessment any better if not worse. If I was a Man U fan, I would have been crying out loud right now seeing how the club has continued to display failures over success for the period of time.
Ten Hag's successor in person of Ruben Amorim was meant to come salvage the critical situation of the club upon his signing but he hasn't made the club any better in my own opinion having watched how he has declined in his performance recently, losing and drawing in games which is quite surprising.
