Freiburg failed to maximize the moment to climb into the top four, because Freiburg who played away against Augsburg ended the match with a goalless draw. At least, at this moment they could have given a threat to Eintracht Frankfurt who is in third place, although they could not overtake them directly but "if" Freiburg managed to beat Augsburg then of course Freiburg would have a better chance to be able to compete to finish in the top four.
