Bitcoin have always found a way to survive through any kind of economic crisis so far and that has made us to believe that no matter the circumstances bitcoin can still thrive no matter the down turn. Even if we haven’t faced any major challenges yet I still think it can survive it. It’s true certain circumstances will occur that may try to weigh it down but it will only be for a short period of time and bitcoin will recover in the long run and probably exceed it previous height. I believe in bitcoin and will always do. It has gone too far to fall easily.
To be fair, bitcoin has never experienced any serious economic crisis, so far. Covid or the war between Russia and Ukraine have had negative consequences for the economy, but not as severe as previous major recessions and not an economic collapse. Therefore, it is difficult to assess and affirm that bitcoin can stand firm if a great economic recession occurs.
Furthermore, bitcoin only shows the best performance when there is positive news, and very sensitive and often dumped whenever there is negative news. So Bitcoin could survive a financial crisis, but I doubt it would help us in that case.
