There is always quick action to blame the economy and the government whenever the issue of poverty is raised because many people will say that they are poor because of their economy and the government, but in some cases it is not completely true because some people are more the reason of the poverty than any other external factor.
Some people have been introduced to opportunities like investing in bitcoins that they failed to pursue hence their poverty. Some people also lack the very much needed ability to be proactive and take action quickly so they remain poor, some have become too comfortable with their situation that they do not think or plan for more, so they are poor. There are those who indiscipline has kept them poor, there are those who are still slaves to poverty mentality, so they are still poor.

When it comes to the issue of poverty, it is important we go down to the root cause of it. Many people think poverty is the lack of money, but I bet to disagree. Lack of money is not what makes one poor. What makes one poor is his/her MINDSET. Mindset is everything in this life. Give someone the highest figure of money but poses poverty mindset, come back to this same guy in few months and you'll discover that he has gone back to his normal way to life. That's why, the first empowerment anyone should receive is not money, or job but empowerment in the mind.
Yeah Sometimes the cause of poverty is lack of right information. Lack of proper information can leed to focusing on less prioty and hoping to make wealth from it. For example a person may be working hard or morover effortlessly to succeed in a factory work but doesn't know that owning a business and channelling that effort to a personal business can make the person rich. So lacking the right information and also working in the wrong direction can leed to poverty. A person working in the wrong direction may think and be hoping to get a better thing but not knowing that from that which his doing will never make him/her wealthy.
