Most gamblers are seen chasing profits in gambling. You cannot handle it with emotions. Here people associate their emotions with their psychological standards. By learning to control emotions, you can prevent yourself from losing more in gambling.

The attitude of chasing losses is the reason why some new gamblers would think that gambling is a scam because they have lose a lot of money that they never have intentions of losing. Like you said, self control can help them become better gamblers but they still have the decision to make concerning how much they want to spend on gambling or not.

Indeed, if you know how to balance your allotted money for your gambling and capable in making a hard stop after losing whatever the amount then you'll good enough, gambling in terms of decent casinos are not scam but more on mind controlling activities, people who can work on it will make it as prevention.

While with those who can't there's always a chance that they will try to blame someone to the point that they'll pointing their fingers to the gambling house.
Many players need to understand that the game often follows a scenario in which the player begins to play against himself, and gambling games are just a tool in which the player begins to build castles in the air, dreams of wealth, and when this does not happen, he becomes too sad, and sometimes even angry. These feelings will make him scream that he was deceived, he cannot accept the loss. In addition, these players can say that gambling is a scam and other bad things, perhaps this is a defensive reaction of the player's psyche to losses.
