I don’t think any club will be able to take over the second position from Arsenal, Arsenal is ahead of Nottingham forest with just 6 points, but Arsenal should be able to maintain the point difference between them and Nottingham forest. Seriously it’s going to be a shameful thing if Arsenal doesn’t end the season in top 4, how will a team that has been in second position since the beginning of the season, end up not ending the season in top 4 at the end of the season.
I guess you are an Arsenal fans, how will Liverpool make mistake and Arsenal will take over the first position from them? Liverpool are ahead of Arsenal with 13 points, and 27 matches have been played, what kind of mistake do you think Liverpool will make that they will lose 13 points, it’s sound somehow, I agree with you that they will end the season in top 4, but they can’t win the title.
Liverpool can be assured of the title if there is no problem with the main squad. They will be hard to unseat when they play like this continuously. When we look at how Arsenal is performing now, their position on 2nd place will be susceptible to shift by 3 clubs: Nottingham Forest, Chelsea, and Manchester City. It would very likely to happen. A previous champion, Manchester City has a step to increase their performance, they will rise slowly to the 3rd and 2nd position if they win all the remaining matches. Nottingham Forest and Chelsea's performance was not good based on what they did in the last match. Their performance started to decline; it looks like they're having a problem with the performance squad.
I don't see much of a future for Man City as they are unable to maintain their consistency. Winning the title is more of a formality for Liverpool now unless something incredible happens it will definitely be in their favour. It is uncertain how much of an advantage it will be for Arsenal who are thirteen points behind but I will praise their consistent play but being so far behind the chance of strengthening their position by winning the next match is very small. In this regard Nottingham and Man City are trying to maintain their position and secure their place in the Champions League next season.
