There is a big problem in that game. Atletico is not Manchester City man. They are better than Manchester City and with the way they are playing they might be the team to eliminated Real Madrid from the competition. Sometimes i get to pity for Real Madrid because they have faced stronger opponents than most of the team currently in the UCL. Even in difficult stages they get to play a very strong competitor.
In order to win the Champion's League, you have to face the biggest opponents at one point. There is no other way around this, and Real Madrid know this more than any other team in the UCL.Atlético Madrid being the bitter neighbors across the street, It will be a tense two-legged encounter, but if there is any team I think can get out of that situation in the UCL. It's Real Madrid. They can even give up on La Liga and just concentrate on UCL. I have seen it before.
Of course Real Madrid are always favourites and have won the UCL more than other clubs, but Atletico are a dark horse... They made it to 1/8 with no problems and are in the race for the top spot in La Liga with Real... They recently played a draw where they looked no worse than Real... I think these will be very interesting matches where I find it hard to favour anyone... Atletico look just as good...
