Be more active in learning, reading or posting in Bitcoin discussion board, which one of them do you mean? Newbies that are still very new to the industry and without knowledge of Bitcoin has no business posting in that board to avoid spamming or plagarism, they only owe it to themselves to read and learn in that board. Your advice to newbies is a good one but be more specific on how they should be active in Bitcoin discussion board so as not to mislead anyone, Newbies without any knowledge about Bitcoin has nothing to contribute in that board.
You are very wrong. You do not need to be a Bitcoin Guru to earn the right to be active in the Bitcoin Discussions board or to start an interesting conversation that is also contributive to the board. The main issue with this board is that a lot of newbies come and post replies or start new topics thinking they found the secret of the Universe, only repeating information that is already well known by everybody already. I have seen many newbies post truly interesting questions and starting curious conversations about Bitcoin. The key is to not repeat yourself or the basic Bitcoin information you just read.
It is a shame that the Bitcoin Discussion board is only filled with mostly a combination of spam and conversations carried by experienced Bitcoiners. It would be a much more interesting board if Bitcoin Talkers spent their time there simply because they wanted to.
