Brazilian national team has very good players, individually speaking. But once they play together, side by side, nothing really happens. The team struggled against almost every south american national teams last tournament. They have to improve a lot cooperatively if they want to take seriously the idea of competing the next World Cup. An average national team which plays as an organized communicative group can easily beat Brazil, just like it has been happening in previous World Cups.
I agree with you, if you see Brazilan players outside their national team, they play so well that you actually get to see them winning titles and making names for themselves but coming together in their national team, they are unable to harness that brilliance to produce the kind of results that will keep the Brazilian national team at top levels with their equals on the international stage. Maybe a good coach who can get this job done is what they need as most often a teams performance has a way of been related to what the coach has been able to get then to do.
