Usually a club like Man City that has abundant funds will get out of the slump faster than other clubs. They have enough resources to bring in quality players. Even though there are still many games yet to be played, Liverpool is already certain to become the new champions in the EPL because Arsenal has started to wave the white flag after being left so far behind Liverpool.
Man City has started to find its best performance slowly, the top four position is their target so they can appear in the UCL next season.
One thing fans need to know is that it is not the financial capabilities of a club that can grant them out of a slump, take for example Manchester United, they have been the most big spenders in the transfer Market ever since their legendary manager Alex Ferguson left them and until now they haven’t shown a thing or two to actually say they are on the right track. Also Chelsea have spent quite a lot since the beginning of the Todd Bohely era and I don’t see them winning the league already. So it is not about buoyancy that matters but how your requirement team works.
For me i can agree that Manchester city will most definitely come out of the slump next season. Reason been that the recruiting process and it’s team at Manchester City are the best in the premier league. This transfer window shows the club are willing to spend and take them self out sooner as they spent almost 200m on winter transfer.
