Yeah of course these situations do happen every now and then and it eventually covers the poor season performance of the team in the other side of the competition where they had it badly with performance. I think Manchester United would have to win the Europa trophy to clear in no time this disappointing results they're getting in the EPL from the hearts of their fans, more like placating them with the Europa league if they win it. So that's why they have to make sure they continue getting good results in the Europa and not let the poor results in the EPL affect their games over here and eventually they could get pass other opponents, reach the finals and win it.
Right now I prefer not to believe in any team. It doesn't mean I doubt Man United, but I just don't want to expect too much like last season when I was too sure about the strongest team but in the end another team got the title. I still hope Man United can get through every obstacle in this UEL. But I just don't want to expect too much. Because we also have to consider other things like injured players who can cause a big disaster for the team.
Right, not putting much believe on any particular team winning the Europa League trophy would help you not feel disappointed should they fail to. But am just rooting for Manchester United and I don't know why I really have so much guts on them despite their poor performance in the EPL and also knowing well they're sitting 3rd place in the Europa. I think now that they have fallen out of the FA Cup, with less competitions to play it would afford them much concentration of energy on the Europa. This doesn't mean am undermining other teams in the Europa though.
