Looks like Dortmund is more focused in the champions league game than they do in their domestic league, seeing their incredible performances so far in champions league tells a lot, they may not be in a good form when it comes to Bundesliga title race but could go as far as reaching the final game in champions league competition. Still Dortmund has a great chance of finishing up 4th in the league side because of the points difference between, Stuttgart, Leipzig, Wolfsburg, and M'glabach ranges from 1-3 points so very likely will finish in the top 4 at the end of the season.
Focusing on the UCL and ignoring the Bundesliga was a big mistake made by Dortmund, even though they could beat Lille in the round of 16, they will most likely face Barcelona in the next round. Dortmund must take a more realistic look at their abilities including the chances in the UCL which leaves strong teams from different Leagues.
Dortmund must maintain their position in the Bundesliga in order to finish in the European zone in anticipation of failing in the UCL.
You're right but no body can tell what will happen if they win Lille and meet Barcelona, today's Barcelona isn't the Barcelona we used to know before, else I would have concluded that would be a finished point for them, but at energy they used to play during their league stage games, they were really impressive, Therefore both them and Barcelona, kind of has 50-50 chance of winning, because both are experienced when it comes to Champions league, it also not gonna be rosey on Barca side.
