and lastly, do you ever cash out while in the red? when things go bad, do you sometimes take out less than your initial deposit, thinking, "it's better than nothing"?
I do cut loss in everything and that's a huge help that I've learned over the period of my experience in crypto and even in gambling. That's why even if I am red, I do cash out. It's better to take that money out than the money taken away from me. And you're right, it's better to have something back than having nothing at all. It's the worst feeling when you can just take back your money even with some losses on it and lesser when you take them back.

Better than nothing hahha. A worse feeling when both frustration and regret are hunting you, but  like what you said even you are in green it's still a good choice to call for the day to prevent losing everything as the tendency when you ain't  able to stop and all the deposit are all gone, you'll be force to add more and suffer with the outcome.

Take your money either you earned some or lose some, then comeback when you feel that you can make something decent.

Gambling is a game of probability, so many players are like you, they prefer to take half of the winning offer or amount, instead of losing it all and gaining nothing, while some other gamblers too are willing to give in all their hope on gambling continuously trying to double up their money and few times they could be lucky and most times they will lose all their money.
Deciding in this environment is challenging and several different experiences are offered to each individual. While some believe that they can take home some of the products which have been perceived as being obtained, there are other who would like to continue striving in order to get even bigger yields. As you are already aware each action, each step taken is sure to have its effects and no one can always be so sure of the outcome. Sometimes life is good to us and sometimes it is not, as everything does not turn out as planned. In all the cases, the essence is how one lives each given decision with full consciousness not indulging in sentiments.
