I don't understand why they are considering sacking Ruben Amorim to make way for Unai Emery. We all saw how effective and successful Amorim was at Sporting Lisbon. Sacking Amorim will be a mistake in my opinion, while Unai Emery has done a fantastic job with Aston Villa, if he joins Manchester United without the club addressing its deeper issues, he will likely struggle as well. Without structural changes no manager will succeed at the club.
If Amorim has to go, there is no problem if that will bring change to the way the team is playing, but I will be more happier if half of the team will be replaced because if you change the coach without doing justice to all the players that has been making blinders and frequent errors and mistake in their games, then the pronlem will remain the same, it's like trying to make something better but you are not doing anything about it.
Amorim's departure won't make any significant change in the club, he came in mid season and was yet to master the player's performances, he's not all that experienced with the red devil's players. Sacking him due to the poor results is wrong, they need to give him another benefit of the next season, to apply all he's understood about the club, since his emergence as the coach, and bring in fresh strikers to the team. Then, if nothing significant happens they can take up another manager. Man U has been facing managerial problems since the absence of Sir Alex Ferguson, switching from one coach to another won't help the club.
