I don't think Juventus replacing Thiago Motta with Xavi would be an upgrade. If Juventus wants to reclaim their crown back in Serie A, they need a coach with a proven track record of success, someone that is capable of improving both their performance level and their style of playz While Xavi might be under consideration, I don't believe he possesses the tactical ability and experience to achieve such a feat especially given the highly competitive nature of Serie A.
First of all I still think Juventus are in a transition and do not need to harshly start sacking coaches, although they are out of the champions league they are definitely sitting in the top four and are on their way to get a champions league spot yet again, this season they started not too quite well due to their transfer situation they were many exits but not much of a big deals coming, they currently have a weak attacking options and that has been the major reason why they are drawing so many matches this season. With another transfer window we might see what Thiago Motta is actually trying to build.
But as for coaching option I think Xavi in my opinion in terms of their Coaching career so far is an upgrade on Thiago Motta because he has already won a league with Barcelona and that already polishes his CV but the replacement seems like a like to like change to me
If Amorim has to go, there is no problem if that will bring change to the way the team is playing, but I will be more happier if half of the team will be replaced because if you change the coach without doing justice to all the players that has been making blinders and frequent errors and mistake in their games, then the pronlem will remain the same, it's like trying to make something better but you are not doing anything about it.
I think any fan calling for the sack of Amorim just less than a year in his contract is simply not watching the United games, the current players have been a culprit of sacking managers, so instead of actually sacking managers again why wouldn’t Manchester United rebuild totally. This rebuild simply means trusting the manager an getting him players he wants not actually making decisions for him which is the thing Manchester United board are getting wrong
