Actually I think real madrid do not show much interest in wining their league, moreover I think they are much interested in wining the champions league this season because their performance in their previous match against real betis was not impressive at All, so this makes me think that maybe they're more interested in wining the champions league this season than that of their normal league. Because their performance during the champions league is always different from when they're playing in their league, though I may be right or wrong but whatever their intentions is. The only advice I can give to them is that they shouldn't take any trophy for granted. Because thier possibility of winning the champions league this season is still 0% reason been that they still have a long way to go.
If you can have both competitions in the same season like Madrid did last season, why sort out the competition as if it's not that important and focus on the other.
Madrid are still strong enough now to be able to compete just like they did last season, their chances are also still very open to be able to get 2 trophies (Champions League and also La Liga) for now so why just choose one if indeed they are still able to compete in both.
Indeed, in terms of performance in the last few matches in La Liga it looks like Madrid are losing momentum but that doesn't mean they are not serious about this, I don't like the scheme that Ancelotti has done in the last few matches in La Liga but that doesn't mean it is used as an excuse that they are not serious sometimes coaches have their own level of confidence and I am still quite sure that Ancelotti also still intends to try to defend trophies in the Champions League and La Liga for this season.
