1) How can African governments and private sector actors mitigate the impact of USAID funding cuts?
African countries have a cross-country organization called the African Union, this is the most relevant organization that can provide solutions to this problem. This organization should be able to provide solutions to the problems experienced by African countries after the termination of USAID in the region. Leaders from countries that join this organization should be able to gather and discuss the next steps to replace assistance from USAID which has been stopped for the most part. Large African countries such as Egypt, Nigeria, South Africa, etc., should be able to provide assistance and work together with other countries on this issue.
