The Epl this season has been one ironic one where can say even the top four teams as not be consistent to be frank but at least Liverpool still doing better than others especially against the Gunners who I thought might be the favourite this season since Manchester City are having an unfortunate spare thus season.
But above this, I don't think other domestic leagues can criticise or judge the EPL for their lower points in comparison to past years. EPL teams are still doing well in the UEFA competition, if they can go far this is a good thing or regulations
I agree with you that this season English Premier League has been very unpredictable. Even top four teams have had trouble playing well all the time. But Liverpool has been different they have played very well especially against Arsenal who many people thought would be best team this season. Fact is that Manchester City is not doing well this season has also made things more unpredictable. Even though teams in EPL are not getting as many points as they did in past I do not think other leagues should criticize EPL. The way EPL teams are doing in European competitions shows how strong league is and if they can keep doing well it will be good for league reputation.
Before the season started, no one gave attention to Liverpool. Some people were predicting that City will defend the league. While Arsenal fans were saying that, it's their turn to win the league thos season. Unfortunately, for these two teams, they don't have the quality and strength to prove those who made those predictions right. Injury ravaged City, and Arsenal cannot be consistent Liverpool proved everyone wrong.
