Am not really surprised seeing PSG humiliating Lille this way, the Ligue1 has been a league where PSG has always dominated for several decades so it's not new to me and as it stands now there seem to be no other club club that can actually challenge PSG in the french league hence I think PSG should rather extend their dominance or channel this energy to the champions league and maybe bring the champions league trophy to France because that's what's missing, for me they have outgrown the french league and it's time to win the champions league and prove to everyone that they are capable of doing big things like Manchester city and Real Madrid.
Can PSG do that with their current condition, yes for Ligue 1 it still shows that PSG is the strongest and has dominated for several years but UCL is competition that is followed by several strong team from various League, PSG with various great players alone cannot win UCL and moreover now with conditions like this it will clearly be more difficult for PSG to achieve that success.
Tomorrow they will face Liverpool in the first leg and for the last 16 if PSG can knock Liverpool out it is already the best achievement because so far Liverpool is the strongest and most consistent team, but if in this first leg PSG cannot win then for the second leg PSG will definitely be lost and they will be eliminated.
It is clear that there is no doubt that PSG is the strongest team and has dominated several times as champions in Ligue 1. So far there is no team that can compete with PSG in French Ligue 1. PSG can only control the French League and not in other competitions such as the UCL. In the current conditions, PSG is facing very tough competition from strong teams from various European Leagues, so it is difficult for PSG to achieve success in the UCL. Liverpool's round in the first leg was an important match in changing conditions to become a strong team because Liverpool is currently in good condition on all fronts. I think it will be difficult for PSG to get rid of Liverpool in the UCL in the round of 16, so this will be a very interesting match at the start of the round of 16.
