Is good you shared this list and the clubs they are coming from, I didn't no that one of our goalkeeper is in Udinese, perhaps we were always on the people who take care of the super eagles front line to forget about our keepers, Maduka Okoye is the next best super eagles keeper after Nwabali. I'm happy for the list of defenders we have and is the best we can present on this tournament, so there shouldn't be loopholes this time for super eagles, is it not Kelechi I'm seeing among them? Has the the coach later called him back because some were saying he is not on the list so how managed we are seeing him there.
There is nothing special about the list since it contains the best Nigerian players currently. The only surprise in the inclusion of former captain Armed Musa in the list. I thought his time has passed and should take other roles in the national team. But he is such a great player that is performing pretty well in the local league with Kano Pillars. I am also pleased that the coach watched some Nigerian Premier League game and selected some home based players. I just hope to see a good game from the Super Eagles again.
This is a good list, but how to use them to make sure this trophy follow super eagle this season is the major challenge because their coach use to select those that are loyal to him when he was looking for the coaching job, whether they are good or not he will use them to play the game. I notice that some super eagle coach don't use to value all those local players because they believed that those Nigerian players playing international teams are more experience than those players playing in local team which is not true.
Super eagle coach will not force any premier league players to come home and play, but if they show interest and they have the capacity to represent their team, super eagle coach will consider such players because they need to win this trophy.
