They have played the game and ended 1-1. I don’t really know what to say about Dortmund at this point because I was really expecting Dortmund to win this match. The reason is that this is their home match, and they should try everything possible with the match since they are at home and to be able to qualify for the next round. Lille is not a weak team, but I wasn’t expecting Dirtmjbdvto to allow them to end the game in a draw. I was expecting to try everything possible to win the match because of the home advantage that they have.
I wasn't too surprised by Dortmund result against Lille as their recent form has been below par. Dortmund have just thrown away the chance to make their campaign easier when they play at Lille's home ground, if they are eliminated then their chances of appearing in European competition next season are very slim as they are currently stuck in 10th place in the Bundesliga table.
There are many things that need to be fixed in the Dortmund squad to improve its performance like in previous seasons, now the direction is starting to change, the Bundesliga is becoming more competitive. Dortmund must improve their quality if they want to continue to compete in the title race or at least stay in the top four.
