Earlier this week, Brazilian and Barcelona football legend Ronaldinho made headlines by launching his own cryptocurrency, STAR10, on the Binance Smart Chain (BSC). The move even caught the attention of Binance’s former CEO, CZ. 

Reactions were mixed—some people were excited, while others had concerns about the token’s structure. But despite the doubts, STAR10 managed to get listed on a few exchanges and saw a massive surge, tripling its market cap at one point. 

This raises an interesting question: Could this be the start of a trend? Will more footballers and athletes start launching their own tokens? If they do, it could bring millions of fans into the crypto world, making blockchain technology more mainstream. Athlete-backed tokens could offer unique perks—like exclusive content, merchandise, or even allowing fans to have a say in certain decisions. 

But for this to truly work, it has to be more than just hype. These projects need to be built on trust, transparency, and real value. What do you think?
