Strategues are fine but in terms of using a strategy to get a max win wont work.  Slots are completely random and cant be gamed.  So you can bet small amd have the same exact chance as hitting max win as ypu woukd if you bet bigger.  Most people that habe strategues just make them feel good at what they are doing but in reality doesnt alter anything except the speed at which they get to the end of their play.
