Manchester United is scared if they might enter relegation zone if the manager is still Amorim, but they forget that they signed Amorim because Amorim was successful with Sporting Lisbon.

Unai Emery is quite successful with Aston Villa, but it doesn't mean he will successful with Manchester United.

Emery once trained Arsenal, but he was not successful. Manchester United better to recruit Xabi Alonso, Ancelotti or Pep, we haven't see star managers manage Manchester United.
I don't understand why they are considering sacking Ruben Amorim to make way for Unai Emery. We all saw how effective and successful Amorim was at Sporting Lisbon. Sacking Amorim will be a mistake in my opinion, while Unai Emery has done a fantastic job with Aston Villa, if he joins Manchester United without the club addressing its deeper issues, he will likely struggle as well. Without structural changes no manager will succeed at the club.

I also think Ruben Amorim should stick to one pattern of football and make his intentions known to the players instead of using different patterns that may not be comfortable for the players, I think sacking Amorim without addressing the problem of the team will also not become of any good since the coach is yet to identify the ways to solve the problem surrounding the team. Sporting Lisbon is a different team under a different league Amorim may not achieve the same good results he had with Sporting Lisbon but sacking him won't be a good idea I think he should be given another season after he must have brought in new players to solidify his squad but if the management considers bringing in Unai Emery as replacement for Amorim, then the team will still continue losing games if there is not solution to their bad record.
Amorim took charge of Manchester United not long ago and if there were rumors of him being sacked now I would say it would be treated unprofessionally. This manager has already taken charge of a haphazard team and now if he can't improve that much with this haphazard team and for that reason it would be unfair on him if he is sacked. How Manchester United have performed under him this season cannot be overstated but he should be given the freedom to buy as many players as he wants in the next transfer window and give him another season. If he doesn't do well for the team even after buying the player of his choice then the management can definitely decide to fire him and if he does well then they can plan long term with him.

You said here that he treats players differently in different matches, I think he does it for the sake of the team and maybe he thinks that if he plans like that, maybe Manchester United will go back to winning streak.
