It depends on the lady in particular. Some are skeptical about anything gambling. Some their husband, family and or friends has a gambling office.
If the woman is just a girlfriend maybe it won't be a problem if you are honest about your gambling activities, because anyway she may thinks everyone has the right to live a life including in terms of seeking entertainment, but when the woman sees a more serious life in fostering a household of course she will be angry although she may also have gambled, because in the household of course finance is a major factor besides love, Because if she marries a gambler of course eventually their life will be chaotic later that's why maybe women are more inclined to dislike men who are drunkards and gamblers, if you want to tell your wife and family about your gambling activities, I think you need to think 10 times to do it because sometimes your honesty can lead to the destruction of the you household.
But i think even if girlfriend is loyal she will never support her boyfriend gambling habit, because mostly people’s treating it’s a very bad thing and it’s kind of criminal offense. On the other hand wife and your family members will go against it very hardly, because they know that here you can lose money, so they dislike it and they want to protect you from big losses.
