It's obvious that Bayern is in a good form to win the title this season than Leverkusen. From the look at their performance yesterday in UCL, it shows that Bayern is desperate and badly thirsty for trophies. Kompany has done a good work on the team, because I saw how aggressively they played just to make sure that they put Leverkusen in their place.
Alonso performance with Leverkusen has been a masterpiece all this while since last season but after their defeat yesterday by Bayern Munich who's their strong opponent in their domestic league, it looks like it's already game over for the champions league dream and making it even more questionable on their local title race. Football is sometimes crazy but for Leverkusen to overcome 3 whole goals margin against Bayern Munich is like trying to climb a big mountain which would be definitely hard to achieve.
What I still don't understand up to now is why Xabi Alonso benched his best strikers Boniface and Schick in a match against strong opponent like Bayern. Was that a tactics or just too much of confidence or he underrate Bayern? I would say the chance to turn things around in the second leg is just 5% having conceded too many goals yesterday. The performance this season have not been quite impressive thou.
